So, just a little about me:
My name is Milan Parekh, owner and founder of Canvas N Colon Art Studio. I am a mom with a wonderful husband and two handsome boys! I grew up in India and have painted since childhood! I have been living in New Jersey, USA for past 22 years.
With my professional degree in fine arts and years of experience in teaching, I opened my own art studio 12 years ago at my home in Monroe, NJ.
And it is still growing and thriving!
Over the years, I explored almost all forms of painting using different tools, techniques and my creative thinking. That led me to develop my own unique method of teaching that is simple and easy to understand by students of any age.
Not only that I excels in creating intricate and detailed artwork using Natural Sand, that you can find in my gallery. My artworks has been displayed in various art galleries throughout New Jersey and New York.
Teaching art has been more than just a profession for me. It has been a truly fulfilling experience. Seeing the happiness on their faces and hearing heartfelt words of gratitude from parents makes every moment worthwhile.
I feel incredibly blessed and thankful to have this opportunity to make a difference, no matter how small it is.
I look forward to growing, learning, and continuing to serve my community through the power of Art.
